PrautoDoc ("we," "us," or "our") provides a governed engineering documentation platform. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

This policy applies to website visitors, early access applicants, contact form users, and authorized platform users within your organization.

Website and forms

• Basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) to operate and secure the site
• Early access and contact submissions: name, email, and optional company, role, and message
• Essential cookies for authenticated sessions where applicable

Platform users

• Account details: email, name, organization, and role
• Product activity: reviews, approvals, publishes, and configuration changes
• Integration data you intentionally submit via GitHub, Slack, Teams, file uploads, or manual intake

PrautoDoc uses intentional intake for Slack and Teams. We do not passively monitor or archive full chat history.

We use data to operate the service, process requests, authenticate users, generate and govern documentation, maintain audit trails, and improve security.

We do not sell personal information.

We may share data with:

• Service providers that host or support the platform (cloud, database, AI APIs)
• Your organization — visible to authorized users per role
• Publishing destinations you configure (e.g. Confluence, GitHub Pages)
• Authorities when required by law or to protect safety and rights

We apply tenant isolation, role-based access, audit logging, encryption in transit, and encrypted storage for sensitive data where enabled. No system is perfectly secure — see our Security page for more detail.

We retain data while needed to operate the service or as required by law. Early access and contact data is kept for program management unless you request deletion. Platform data is retained per your organization's use and configuration.

Data may be processed in countries where our providers operate. We apply appropriate safeguards where required. PrautoDoc is not intended for children under 16. We may update this policy and will post changes with a revised date.
